Floral Prayers: One Bloom, Every Story
My work on Floral Prayers began as a deeply felt response to the tragedies of October 7, 2023. Through the careful placement of flowers, layers of cyanotype, and handwork, I created space to pause and reflect on each life represented. What began as an artistic process evolved into a practice of remembrance, with every bloom serving as a small prayer and acknowledgment of a unique human story. The work combines cyanotype, chine-collé, natural dyes, and hand embroidery, creating layered surfaces that reflect memory, fragility, and remembrance.
